IMPOSSIBLE WORK LIMITED EDITION FOLIO 2025

These photographs from my new body of work Impossible Work are part of a fundraiser print run to help me raise funds to finish the series and publish it as an artist book. I invited author Jennifer Good to write a short text to accompany it - a gesture that comes out of our growing friendship and ongoing exchange around the work, and for which I am immensely grateful. Jenny’s text Fireflies is an edited excerpt from her forthcoming book, Beheld: Photography, Violence, Love, interspersed with emails exchanged between her and me in June 2024, soon after we first met. This work has been lived and created for more than 6 years and I am now finally at a stage where I am able to share it, both creatively and emotionally. However, I need help to gather the financial support for the work to come to life. I created these photographs in a community darkroom Studio 10, and they were inspired and encouraged by my friend artist Dafna Talmor.

The work has been recently shortlisted for the prestigious Ampersand / Photoworks Fellowship 2025 and PhMuseum Women Photography Grant.
